Yorkshire Employability Programme

Announcing our arrival in North Yorkshire!

Our Employability Project embraces the #ResumeWay – a pathway that supports others to prepare for, find and retain meaningful and inclusive employment.  We aim to provide an even footing for those who often are overlooked or ignored due to being, or feeling, marginalised; we define marginalised as anyone who is discriminated against due to their circumstance or characteristics.  This includes those in rural communities, ex-offenders, over 50s, women returning to work, LGBTQ+ and those with additional mental health needs.

The project offers each candidate a series of workshops (delivered online whilst face-to-face meetings are prevented) and additional one-to-one support.  These focus on CV writing, job searching, application forms and interview preparation, together with any specific needs identified by the individuals.

To qualify for this support, you must be over 18, unemployed, living in North Yorkshire and have a legal right to work in the UK.

For more information about the project please contact our Regional Manager (Yorkshire), CJ Allison at cj.allison@resumefoundation.org.uk
