JOB PURPOSE
APPRENTICESHIP SALES ADVISOR


Job purpose

The purpose of the role is to promote & sell apprenticeships to small and medium sized employers through outbound telesales. You will contact employers to offer advice and guidance to which apprenticeship or training programme will best meet the needs of their business, including new hires and upskilling of existing staff. You will work closely with the employer engagement and centralized learner recruitment teams to understand and promote our products.

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience plus OTE

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will have responsibility for engaging new clients to introduce specific work-based learning products, as well as individual high potential candidates from our talent pool.  Other responsibilities include:
§ Ensure that you are an expert on both ILE’s product offering and the broader government funding rules relating to Apprenticeships so that you can become a trusted advisor
§ Be focused on engaging employers aligned to an industry sector, but will have the responsibility to promote all of ILE’s products. 
§ Contact employers to identify learning opportunities including;

 

o Upskilling existing staff with apprenticeship programmes;

o Gathering vacancies that should be filled by new hire apprentices;

o Promoting our talent pools to employers

o Identifying other opportunities (such as with AEB, traineeship or commercial training services) to meet the training needs of these employers 
§ Passing vacancy opportunities to the learner recruitment teams to ensure that new hire opportunities are filled in a timely manner

Overall, you will also be expected to

· Promote and sell Apprenticeships to new and existing employers focusing on ILE’s core industry sectors

· Generate new business growth in the designated areas of delivery

· Deliver a quality service to ensure all clients and employer needs are exceeded

§ Ensure our delivery exceeds internal quality expectations and external benchmarks such as Ofsted
§ Ensure that our overall commercial goals are met or exceeded, to provide sustainable growth for our business

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

Essential

English & Maths (Graded C or equivalent)

Previously enjoyed working in a KPI driven environment

Proven Outbound Telesales experience
Worked in a team-based environment
Worked in a customer focused environment

Desirable

Call Centre experience.

Experience and background knowledge in our core delivery sectors

Experience maintaining a CRM system

Experience and knowledge of Work-based learning (e.g. apprenticeship, commercial training or traineeship field
