2 x exciting and challenging Assistant Surveyor opportunities to join our Hackney Homes Planned Maintenance programme in the north and east London area. This contract covers predominantly external works including: FRAs, windows and doors and communal areas across a mixture of blocks/street properties and high-rises.

Key Accountabilities will include:
Conducting subcontractor procurement exercises to obtain best value for Wates and its client. This would include the production of sub-contractor documentation, produced to Wates framework standards.
Building up client quotations, using NHFv7 schedule of rates for submission.
Producing and submitting interim and final accounts to the client.
Evaluating and certifying Sub-contractor payments through Wates ordering and financial systems.
Production and issue of client invoices.
Provide daily supervision of the Commercial Administrator, ensuring that tasks are complete.
Adhere to Wates industry leading health and safety guidelines.
We are looking for recent experience of working within Housing Maintenance; some Tier 1 Contractor experience; and experience using Impact Response and COINS (or similar systems).
To be successful in the role you will be able to communicate with all stakeholders and build credible, lasting relationships, and have a good work ethic and the ability to work flexibly, independently and as part of team.
