We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT department, bringing your experience to work towards our vision to be the World’s Most Loved Exercise Brand. Working closely with our IT teams around the world, you’ll be the expert shaping the integration platform connecting systems.
Reporting into the Head of IT Strategy & Business Architecture, the Business Analyst will:
Work with regional teams to assess the commercial impact of customer/business requirements and translate these into technical procedures for delivery of new Integrations needed to support the Virgin Active business
Be the single point of contact for all API requirements for Virgin Active, extensive experience in Product Management, preferably Agile. Responsible for all Integration Change/Release
Be responsible for the governance of the Global Integration platform ensuring the platform delivers on the Virgin Active Strategy within agreed SLA’s & KPI’s
Design and improve custom data-integration procedures for individual customers ensuring the solution supports our ability to provide all the tools and infrastructure for planning, designing, implementing, testing, publishing, operating, consuming, maintaining, versioning, and retiring APIs
Be accountable for the information security of the integration platform, associated APIs and connecting third party services.
You will be based in our Barbican (Central London) Head Office. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typical office hours/varied shifts including…8.30am-5.30pm.

To be successful as an IT Business Analyst, you will have/be:
Experience working with Systems Integration Platforms along with strong product management experience (backlog grooming, prioritisation, operational stability SLA’s)
A great communicator and a brilliant representative of IT
A tertiary qualification, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and/or equivalent commercial experience
Formal Business Analysis qualifications e.g. ISEB BA Diploma or equivalent
Experience of technically managing integration on a range of technologies. For example, server-client architecture, database, Cloud-technologies, networking and software application development (Azure PAAS)
Experience of managing customer relationships & senior stakeholder relationships
Experience in Agile or SCRUM practices, ITIL qualified a plus.
