JOB TITLE: Case Manager
 
REPORTS TO:   Resettlement Services Manager
 
RESPONSIBLE FOR:  Liaison, organisation and administration in relation to the preparation for and management of participants post release
 
INTERNAL CONTACTS:  Head of Learning, Commercial Director, trainers, administrators, as required
 
EXTERNAL CONTACTS:  As required
 
HOURS: 37.5 per week flexi-time (core business/ regime hours required to meet the needs of the business)
 
SALARY: £20,000-24,000 (dependent upon experience)
 
LOCATION: Office based in Brixton, various prison and community locations throughout London
 
PRIME OBJECTIVES:
 
This project support role is the lynchpin of the ‘through the gate’ process in preparing prisoners for release and managing them upon release. 
 
You will be required to go into the prisons to mediate between Bounce Back and agency case managers, and ensure that selected participants are progressed and transitioned into work or further training with Bounce Back’s commercial enterprise or one of our partners.
 
You will also liaise with the relevant departments to prepare for and manage ROTL participants who are engaging with our commercial enterprise or partner agencies
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
 
1. Liaise with prisons and show initiative to help broaden the remit and find good candidates for BB participation in conjunction with Prisons and community
2. Guide and mentor the inmates in preparation for release and support them into employment or further training upon release
3. Help oversee Bounce Back’s agreements with participants on ROTL and liaise with the prisons to ensure proper and correct operations
4. Develop an understanding of and build a professional relationship with other delivery agencies and community partners to ensure that participants receive the relevant support prior to and post release
5. Maintain accurate data, paperwork and records relating to all Case Work activities, ensuring contractual compliance in dealing with participant data and confidentiality
6. Plan for and oversee the delivery of CSCS card training and assessment to ensure that participants hold the relevant card prior to working on a construction site either on ROTL or Post Release
7. Administer petty cash, maintain a budget and keep records of financial assistance offered to participants for subsistence and travel expenses
8. Contribute to the implementation of Bounce Back’s Prevent and safeguarding policies and follow relevant reporting procedures
