Position : Compliance Administrator (Apprentice)

Location : Preston

Salary : £3.70 per hour

Job Purpose:

To ensure Recycling Lives Operations is ‘industry-leading’ when it comes to managing and minimising our impact on the Environment. Ensure that we comply with Environmental Legislation, retain ISO 14001 accreditation and develop a culture of continuous in environmental management.

As an Apprentice, you will be expected to learn quickly and to contribute to the team from day one. We encourage every one of our colleagues to challenge convention and to assist us in driving outstanding service both internally and externally. Whilst you may not have any work experience in the field, we expect all applicants to be willing to learn, and prepared to showcase this enthusiasm in any interview

Responsibilities:

Auditing of al Duty of Care and Hazardous Waste Notes
Assisting in the completion of quarterly returns
Awareness of environmental legislation
Background work for permit applications
Ensuring customer and supplier compliance paperwork is up to date
Use of Salesforce to record customer and supplier compliance
Tool box talk administration and auditing
Cross departmental assistance as required
Deliver good value by completing all administrative tasks required
Working knowledge of Microsoft office and a good level of IT literacy preferred.
Able to process, collate and file large quantities of data and documents and create audit trails

Someone who is highly organised and efficient
Excellent communication skills
Willing to undertake a level 2 or level 3 Business Administration qualification
You will also: ensure high standards of delivery and customer service; be determined, resilient and flexible; demonstrate a positive attitude; and come up with ideas that add value.
