From the client:

What is important to me in this role is that I find someone that I can work well with – that is happy to do bits of work like audits where they will need a good attention to detail and will need to build up their knowledge so they know when to escalate issues.  But also someone who after a relatively short period of time can take responsibility and ownership for work with limited direction from me.  It is also important that they are interested in compliance and legislation so they enjoy what they are doing and the team they would be a part of.
As mentioned I’m happy to train them up if they had the right attitude to work and commitment and are bright and capable.  For this role it is usually about those type of qualities rather than their direct experience.  If they do well with me and show a lot of potential then there are all sorts of opportunities across our business in the future from there.
