Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of a 30 million pound project with Croydon County Council, building a new build secondary school for 1,700 pupils.

 

Key Accountabilities will include:

Effective ownership and leadership of all aspects of the project delivery
Define clear project or programme outcomes as part of the Project Business Plan and review progress
Evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback on the results to the team and wider business
Demonstrate absolute commitment and Leadership in all aspects of HS&E ensuring best practice is adopted as well as
Develop and ensure that a clear strategy is mapped out and communicated to the team on how the project will be delivered on time
Manage programme efficiently, ensuring high quality, and full control of costs/ budgets.
 

We are looking for a qualified and professional Construction Manager who has experience on large new build construction projects, within the education sector, and can effectively lead and develop a team through to successful completion of a project.

 

To be successful in this role you will have strong gravitas & presence, integrity and effective communication and negotiation skills.
