Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete all relevant documentation accurately

First point of contact for telephone enquiries

Issuing ‘Certificates of Destruction’ to customers

Outbound telephone calls to customers to arrange car collections

Data entry using Excel and bespoke web based software

Any other duties as reasonable requested

Person Specification:


Minimum level GCSE/ GCE Grade A- C Maths and English, or Level 2 Maths and English Functional Skills desirable

Level 2 NVQ Business Administration or relevant industry qualification desirable but not essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

Good attention to detail

Good level of communication skills both face to face, over the phone and in writing.

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to use IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, for accessing and inputting information.

Ability and willingness to respond positively and effectively to change


Experience within Administration or Customer Service is desirable

Personal Competencies and Qualities:

Adaptability and flexibility is essential

Proven ability to multitask and learn new tasks quickly

Able to cope with the duties and responsibilities for the post and the associated working environment
