We have an opportunity for an M&E Project Engineer with electrical bias to join our established Construction Midlands team in Leicester. This role will manage the technical correctness of Works progression, which will include the supply of and co-ordination of all technical information.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Support the MEP PM in development of construction programme and short term look ahead planning
Assist in the procurement process, technical assessments and order placement
Prepare method statements and risk assessments and review with sub-contractors
Review design and construction drawings and sign off
Attend/chair internal meetings with sub-contractors on site as progress necessary
Set out handover and commissioning procedures for MEP Site managers to implement
We are looking for you to hold a HNC or equivalent in Electrical engineering and have an excellent ability to challenge engineering solutions proposed by the design team. You will have the ability to use management systems as along with good planning skills and an attention to detail.
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business.
