POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to have overall responsibility for the operational delivery of M&E, Front of house and cleaning services.
 
The successful candidate will manage the services delivered by the local FM team and respond to all issues on-site with the local client team and key stakeholders. Ensure consistency and standardisation in line with other sites across the Account, with regard to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems, as well as HR, Financial reporting, Maintenance standards, statutory compliance, Business Continuity Planning and sub-contractor management amongst others.
 
This position will be based at a modern, high profile corporate office complex at Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client relationship management and development
Develop and monitor the service delivery through the agreed SLA and KPIs.
Strict control of costs, deliver efficiencies, generate savings and best value solutions.
Establish, monitor and supplement resource levels to comply with contract requirements.
Facilitate the development of robust ‘risk management’ processes and procedures.
Co-ordinate incident response to event.
Implement and monitor Interserve’s customer satisfaction programme.
Effectively manage all service lines and the Sub contract supply base
Lead and develop the multi-disciplinary site team
Continual Improvement
Support the Continuous Improvement programme and identify issues to drive forward contract development.
Encourage, coach, support and manage the effective performance of people and develop them to meet the contract requirements.
Commercial Management
Management of local budget to ensure contract activity is completed to time and cost.
Drive out efficiencies, generate savings and best value solutions.
Performance Management
Assist in the collation of Key Performance Indicators relating to the site.
Ensure personnel achievement and development plans for all staff under their control are completed and reviewed each year, and ensure training requirements are delivered.
Quality Management
Monitor the performance of all works in progress and completed works in line with PPM programmes and Forward Maintenance Programme.
Implement Interserve’s integrated policies on Health & Safety & Environment (HSE) in conjunction with corporate support teams and local requirements.
Ensure defined HSE responsibilities and accountability are established and regular reviews are undertaken.

Effectively manage the contract in line with company HSE policies and targets
To successfully manage the delivery of Facilities Management services to a consistently high level.
To develop relations and collaboration with client management teams to ensure delivery of contract.
Effective development of variable revenue streams.
To generate efficiencies, savings and best value solutions.
The reporting of performance against SLA & KPI.
Site Team development
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
Proven track record in successful people management.
Experience within a Facilities Management role.
Experience of budget management.
Working knowledge of P&L Accounts.
Recent successful experience of controlling FM services in a similar environment.
IT literate FM Management Information Systems, MS Word and Excel.
Mobile to travel between sites as required.
Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH.
Desirable
Recent successful experience of negotiations with clients and exercising diplomacy.
Experience in successfully working in a pressured and stressful environment.
Experience in managing a large multi-disciplined workforce.
Member of appropriate associations (BIFM, IFMA).
