Job Description

We have opportunities for two professional Financial Accountants to join our team based out of York. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide crucial business support and data analysis as well as business partner with senior stakeholders across the Finance Team and the rest of the business


Key accountabilities will include:


Contribute to the production of the Strategic Business Plan and Budget, including working closely with budget holders to ensure accurate budgets and forecasts
Challenge budget and forecast processes as well as other financial decisions
Fulfil monthly and quarterly reporting requirements both to Group and to the business units
Support senior stakeholders through a transition to new reporting requirements, including meaningful analysis and interpretation of data

We are looking for qualified Accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), with Post Qualification Experience in industry. This is a challenging role within a fast paced environment so strong analytical skills, a challenging mind-set with a desire for continuous improvement, the ability to influence at all levels, and being a clear communicator are all key to the success of this role.


This role will include occasional travel within the UK, and is a fixed term contract until May 19.
