As part of our on-going commitment to a data and technology enabled future, we are seeking a new Front Office Platforms Manager to help design and deliver the capabilities that our business need to operate efficiently and effectively delivering services to our customers, and to enable us to move from reactive to proactive value-added activities.  

What are we looking for?
Software development background familiar with on premise, cloud and hybrid Microsoft technologies including .net framework, Azure components (e.g. data factory, logic and function apps, SQL server DB, Data Warehouse and Data Lake), mobile development platforms (e.g. Xamerin).
Proven Track record of leading software teams consisting of internal and external resource in a multi project environment, working with project management and architecture functions to plan and cost work as well as delivering.
Comfortable working in a technical landscape that is made up of niche COTS packages, Bespoke solutions, SQL server based reporting solutions and large platform based solutions.
Demonstrable understanding of waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies and the associated tool sets including Microsoft Dev Ops (VSTS).
Experience of implementing ALM tools Ideally (VSTS / Microsoft DevOps) tooling with all associated processes and system configuration associated with environments, code and release management.
familiar with DevOps culture, practices and tools with a good understanding of how to implement in a phased approach.
Ability to describe complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
Experience working with Large IT service providers and vendors.
Experience in building communities of practice for widely used and strategic platforms.
Knowledge of salesforce FSL desirable but not essential.
 The role will be based in Speke, Liverpool and will require some UK wide travel to other offices.
