To provide administrative support to the Clinical Assurance Team and the Chief Nurse in activities related to the Clinical Governance Framework and Health & Safety Framework. To maintain reporting and recording data systems as delegated. To copy and prepare papers in advance of meetings, as delegated. Produce typed reports and documents under the instruction of senior colleagues to a high and professional standard. To provide general administrative support as required. To support in the organisation of events such as meetings or conferences.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following skills;
To provide effective administrative support under direction, producing finished work that is accurate and professional. To respond to the needs of the Clinical Assurance Team in order to support their work activities
To balance demands and bring to line managers attention any conflicts in work load demands or priorities
To support the Clinical Assurance Team when requested on issues such as clinical governance, audits and setting or reviewing clinical standards
To support in the preparation, as requested, of tenders and proposals
To participate in activities to help raise the external profile of the business
Support the functions of the Clinical Delivery Team and Clinical Effectiveness Team as directed
Maintain systems, tools and documents to support the delivery of the Clinical Governance Framework, the Quality Monitoring Framework and Health & Safety Framework
Maintain systems within the corporate SharePoint system, as directed ensure such work is accurate, timely and professional undertaken
Provide assistance and support with Clinical Governance reporting including data and activity tracking tools and similar information processes
Support with the maintenance of the incident reporting and complaints electronic systems, including password re-sets and adding new user accounts
Support care record access requests through the accurate copying and preparation of records as requested
Maintenance of confidentiality of information concerning patients, clients and the business activities of Interserve Healthcare (IHC) and be aware of the requirements of the Data Protection Act, Access to Records Act and the IHC policy regarding confidentiality.

To work at all times within the client and IHC Health and Safety policy and through this to ensure that agreed procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for self, client and colleagues

Specific Skills and Experience
Ability to follow instructions and produce work in line with those instructions
Comfortable working under supervision and taking instructions as required
Ability to communicate effectively both face to face and via telephone
Ability to produce work to a high standard within a specific time frame
Able to commute reliably to an office base

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced or standard DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) previously known as a CRB check (Criminal Records Bureau) once appointed.
