ROLE PURPOSE
Carry out right to work checks, employment references and Disclosure Scotland processing for allocated Interserve contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all employees on specified contracts are BPSS level checked.
Undertake all administration of right to work.
Undertake disclosure Scotland form processing.
Carry out risk assessments with HR colleagues with regards to Disclosure Scotland reports containing criminal convictions.
Carry out all associated employment referencing for incoming employees.  
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
HR experience, and a basic understanding of HR policy and procedures (highly desirable but not essential).
Demonstrate a proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service to stakeholders.
Strong team player orientation - cooperative and willing to assist others.
Engaging communicator demonstrating influencing skills and an ability to adapt approaches to differing audiences.
Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong team player orientation - cooperative and willing to assist others.
Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and comfortable with numerical reasoning.
Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality. 
 

This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of employee screening to the BS7858 Standard. This will involve a Basic DBS, Identity & Right to Work Check, 5 Year Occupational History Referencing, Character Reference and an Adverse Financials Search.


Checks will be commenced through Experian at offer stage and will be concluded during probation. Please be advised that if you have any significant gaps in your employment history that cannot be fully evidenced then you may not pass screening.
