Are you an experienced Recruiter, with a proven track record in Construction and / or Engineering?
Here at Wates we have an opportunity to join our In-house Recruitment Team and are looking for a confident and self-driven Recruiter with exceptional networking and communication skills to join us.
Working closely with Recruitment Business Partners, the Recruiter's role is to lead on our volume and project recruitment; managing a diverse mix of vacancies at any one time and candidate applications from a range of sources, so will require good coordination and organisation skills.
Our Recruitment team has successfully introduced a direct model as part of the recruitment strategy to reduce the reliance on agencies and has committed to fully supporting Hiring Managers through the end to end recruitment process. We're keen to continue adding value and deliver cost savings across our business, whilst always being focused on providing a positive candidate and Hiring Manager experience.
To be successful in the role you will be able to evidence your ability to fill vacancies through the use of a range of direct sourcing channels including social media, searching, networking and advertising. Having some in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience would be an advantage, but what is most important is that you are passionate about recruitment and enjoy working as a part of a team to meet objectives.
Please note this is a busy role managing high volumes throughout the year so you will need to be someone who thrives in this type of environment and you will also manage your own administration which includes adding jobs to the system, writing job adverts and occasional reporting.
