We have an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our team in London working on the the joint venture partnership between the London Borough of Havering and Wates Residential which will see 12 council estates regenerated to provide around 3,000 homes for local people over the next 12 years.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Maintain up to date records of all information and ensure that it is available to the team
Issue and distribute controlled copies of information ensuring compliance with all aspects of the design management procedures
Check information on drawings for conformance with status and format agreed
Liaise with designers and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information
Provide training to participants, designers and specialist suppliers on the project on how to use the drawing management system
Troubleshooting any problems to do with the drawing management system and peripherals
Provide advice and feedback on procedures of issue and methods in accessing / using the systems
Use document management and other management/collaboration tools as necessary to meet project requirements
We are looking for an experienced document controller with knowledge of contract documentation, environmental legislation and issues, risk management and life cycle cost.
To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail with exceptional organisational skills along with the ability to work effectively in a team.
