We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our Group IT team in Leatherhead. The primary focus of this role will be to manage projects on a day to day basis, establishing the structure, roles and teams; developing and maintaining plans; identifying and managing risks; and monitoring and reporting progress.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Define and agreeing project scope, outputs, and timescale, quality and cost criteria to ensure business requirements are understood and agreed.
Define and establishing the project structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Plan, manage, monitor and report on the work of the project and project teams to deliver the outputs to the agreed timescale, quality and cost criteria.
Ensure projects comply with methodology and governance
Manage risks and issues effectively and play a pro-active part in problem resolution.
Ensure effective management and reporting of all project stages to provide structure and control throughout project lifecycle including management of entry / exit criteria for each stage
We are looking for an individual who has experience as a project manager responsible for delivering a number of key projects successfully, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft project to an intermediate level is required a minimum.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of project management principles along with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and be a self-starter who enjoys a challenged and takes the initiative to get the job done.
