Form part of a team to provide a high level of maintenance support to meet Interserve business and contractual obligations. The successful candidate will be required to take any necessary security checks for the role. 

Key duties, though not exhaustive, are listed below;
Qualified for Commercial and Domestic Gas
Carry out planned maintenance to a variety of Central Heating and Gas equipment, as per detail and requirement
Carry out reactive repairs to Gas Fired systems and equipment as per requirement
Carry out installation work on Gas Pipework & Heating systems as per drawings and requirements of the business
Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments
Take part in standby rota as required
Accept and feedback work on PPM system and suggest improvements
Offer support to other trades
Completion of documentation as required, including RA’s & MS’s
Undertake Health and Safety, Technical and other training as required
Must be prepared to work towards multi-skilling (gas, plumbing, Electrical)
Other duties as the job role requires
Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in.
Must have completed a recognised time served Domestic & Commercial Gas apprenticeship
Must have demonstrable qualification experience
NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Gas Installation of Installation’s and Equipment under Gas Safe Legislation and certified under the current regulation’s.
Good understanding and Knowledge in all aspects of work’s covering both plumbing and heating breakdown.
IPAF & PASMA trained
Familiar with air handling systems, motors, pumps, HVAC
Fault finding abilities are essential
Ability to work at heights
Ability to read schematic and diagrams
Able to do the job right and do it right first time, within a pre-determined timescale
Willingness to undertake further training
Ability to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial works
Writing and following risk and method statements as required on a daily basis
Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
Must hold a full UK drivers license
Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team
Experience of working within a customer focused environment
Wanting to achieve success, for his or her self, the business and the customer
Flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive)
Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company, in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued
Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments
HSE management in accordance with our (Interserve) Quality Management System and all legal and statutory requirements
Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
