Job Description

We have multiple opportunities for  Carpenter & Plumber Multi Traders to join our Living Space team on our responsive maintenance contract with Axiom, Longhurst which is a 4 year contract covering 3,000 housing stock in Peterborough. This contract is due to mobilise on the 1st of April 2019, come and join one of the UK's leading providers of responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector.


The primary focus of this role will be to undertake all tasks to achieve first time fix and deliver a high standard of workmanship in a timely and productive manner affording excellent customer service to the client at all times.


Key Accountabilities will include:


Undertake repair/renewal works across several trades
Identify the need for other trades to undertake works and advising the Supervisor in a timely manner where other trades are required
Complete daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken
Work to Wates Health & Safety Professional Standards at all times, including  commitment to and understanding of the company’s safeguarding policy towards children and vulnerable adults

We are looking for qualified tradesmen with multi-trade experience gained from working in a similar social housing industry and environment providing them with the skills to fulfil the above role requirements.


To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve, multi task and work to tight deadlines.
