You will have a professional and friendly personality, be able to keep calm under pressure, be confident, organised and maintain a hands-on management approach. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a guest and team first approach and a real passion for great service delivery and people development.
·To take accountability for the total hotel operation during the night time.
·To take responsibility for the security of the hotel at night following hotel and company security procedures at all times.
·To ensure all night audit functions are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
·To ensure all Front of House public areas are cleaned, creating a professional impression to customers and employees.
·Be aware of all hotel cash & credit procedures, ensure all till readings balance & are paid in.
·To ensure all communication from Nights is transferred over to day shift.
·To lead the department and create a team environment which promotes good morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the hotel.
·To ensure effective communication with team members by holding regular briefing sessions and meetings.
·To carry out quality training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business. To ensure training is recorded and all new team members including the Company Induction Plan
