A new role within our HR Team, the On-boarding Specialist is required on a 6-month fixed term contract. Responsible for providing support to all hiring line managers, ensuring that the Costa On-boarding experience is consistent for all new starters to the business.

Who we’re looking for
You’ve strong communication skills, able to speak with people of all levels. You’ve excellent stakeholder management experience. You’re an excellent planner, organised and a proactive thinker. You’re outward looking and always trying to find ways to improve the new joiner experience into the business. As the first point of contact for all new joiners into Costa, you’re an advocate of Costa business and the values.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the point of contact for all new joiners to Costa to keep them updated before they start in their new role. You’ll work closely with the line managers to ensure that they are prepared for their new starter. You’ll ensure that all new joiner packs are available and ready for day 1. You’ll organise brand inductions, attending the day at the roastery session to connect with all new joiners. You’ll maintain the upkeep of the pre-join website, ensuring it always reflects the Costa culture and values. Then, if that isn’t enough for you, you’ll also –
Act as a point of contact for questions that fall outside of line manager relationship and resourcing, such as best place to park, train queries etc.
Utilise and manage the contact us function on the pre-join website.
Pro-actively looking to keep our programme as a point of differentiation, reflecting our culture and values.
Update line manager tool kits, ensuring that any changes to the candidate journey or team member experience 1-90 days are reflected and that line managers are aware.
