We are recruiting for an experienced Painter to join our team at HMP Morton Hall.

What is the purpose of this role?
We are recruiting for a qualified Painter to join our on site maintenance team at HMP Morton Hall. You will work alongside other trade professionals carrying out paint and decorating task's on site.

What will this role involve?
Re-decorating of common areas within the prison
Routing PPM's and reactive works
Covering up vandalism
Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, plant, materials and additional company property
Deliver work allocated to the standards of quality required and within set timescales
Ensure the Health and Safety of self and others in the workplace in accordance with company policy
Follow and adhere to instructions and directives from line management and the Central Co-ordination
Team Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directives
 

What are we looking for?
Completed apprenticeship in paint & decorating
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Previous work related experience
Time management
Previous relevant work related experience
Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments
Required Technical Skills
Accurate measuring and scoping of works
Good knowledge of current industry practice
Problem solving
