Job Description


We have an opportunity for a Procurement Engineer to join our new off-site manufacturing facility and be responsible for ordering all materials, sub-contract packages and prelims (plant, tool hire, etc.) to ensure the efficient manufacture for all off-site products in the Prism factory.


Key Accountabilities will include:


Procure materials through the Company Mosaic System and compliance with the Prism manufacturing programme to ensure materials are available in a “Just in Time” manner to enable efficient production.
Ensure all materials ordered are in accordance with the Service Agreement, project specification and company standards.
Conduct price checks on database materials, liaise with SES purchasing teams and explore the use of new materials and methods.
Co-ordinate with the Logistics Team Leader regarding material deliveries, stock checks, control of Kan Ban supplies and the co-ordination of incoming free issue materials

We are looking for a you to have Mechanical or Electrical trades background having worked in the manufacturing industry, preferably with knowledge of building services and / or construction products.


To be successful in the role you must be highly organised with an attention to detail along with good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
