We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our Group IT team in Leatherhead. The primary focus of this role will be to manage projects on a day to day basis; establishing the structure, roles and teams, developing and maintaining plans, identifying and managing risks, along with effectively monitoring and reporting on progress.
You will be part of the IT Major Projects team working on a range of Group-wide Infrastructure & Applications projects.
Key Accountabilities as an IT Project Manager will include:
Define and agree project scope, outputs, and timescale, quality and cost criteria to ensure business requirements are understood and agreed.
Define and establish the project structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Plan, manage, monitor and report on the work of the project and project teams to deliver against what was agreed.
Ensure projects comply with methodology and governance.
Manage risks and issues effectively and play a pro-active part in problem resolution.
Ensure effective management and reporting of all project stages to provide structure and control throughout project lifecycle including management of entry / exit criteria for each stage
We are looking for an you to already have experience as an IT Project Manager who has been responsible for delivering a number of key projects successfully, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft project.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with a solid understanding of project management principles and best practice along with excellent organisational skills, an attention to detail and overall enjoys a challenge and takes the initiative to get the job done.
