We have a rewarding opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Residential South team on a £1bn contract and major new joint venture with the London Borough of Havering, regenerating 12 council estates to provide around 3,000 homes over the next 12 years. This project will deliver the much-needed affordable homes for borough residents and encourage more integrated communities.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Develop, control and ensure delivery against the project budgets including profit, preliminaries and procurements
Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules which allow accurate monitoring and reporting of progress
Implement all statutory regulatory and company requirements for managing Health and Safety
Secure and manage the appropriate resources to deliver the project / scheme effectively and efficiently in a professional manner to ensure successful delivery within project constraints
Ensure there is a successful and smooth handover of the project, including support to customer/ end user throughout the handover process
Establish a communications plan and agree accountabilities for team members.
We are looking for a qualified and professional Project Manager who has specific and practical experience on large scale, new build residential projects and can successfully lead and develop a team. You will be a proven deliverer in achieving the highest standards of safety, health and environmental controls and end quality.
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business.
