We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join our planned maintenance team in Stevenage on a permanent basis. This programme is predominantly external works (roofing, wall insulation, windows and doors) across 200 low rise blocks and is due to "go live" in August 2018. The successful professional will join a team at the very start of this new contract and be an integral part of the project going forwards.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Interim Valuations to Client and collating supporting information packs.
Contract Administration for Wates (Variations, instructions etc)
Subcontractor Orders, Variations, Valuations, and Payments including all notices.
Material, Subcontractor and Plant management
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to utilise their previous skills and experience within a planned maintenance/refurbishments setting to make the role their own and deliver a valued service from the very beginning of a new project. This is a five year contract providing fantastic long term career development and scope of works for a highly motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor.
We are looking for a qualified and professional Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on external planned maintenance projects and the ability to build strong working relationship at client, internal management and supplier level.
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach to supporting the programme long term.
