This is an exciting opportunity to join the West Coast Partnership Development Team in the role of Resource Manager. The West Coast Partnership Development is responsible for delivering high speed rail services on HS2.
 
As Resource Manager within West Coast Partnership Development, you'll work in partnership with the wider business and be responsible for defining and implementing our resource strategy, designing our processes and building relationships with stakeholders/external partners to source key recruits for the business. This will require a strategically minded but hands on resource manager who's looking for the opportunity to build something new.
 
Essentials include:
 
Build and deliver a resourcing strategy tailored to the needs of the business.
Develop the processes necessary to ensure that the long-term resource strategy is achieved.
Drive the direct hiring model and increase the utilisation of resourcing.
Build and manage Key Supplier relationships ensuring the future needs of the business are understood.
Review supplier performance against contract service levels for timely provision of skilled resource
Work closely with your key stakeholders to ensure you have an in-depth understanding of future demand and skills requirements.
Establish and maintain our ATS (eArcu).
Manage the recruitment budget and other financial reporting and analysis associated with resourcing activity.
Develop and own attraction strategy. You'll need to be able to develop your own marketing collateral.
We need someone who has a breadth of recruitment management experience gained from working in a similar role and environment, managing the full recruitment lifecycle. There will be a mix of volume, direct and project requirements, so organization skills are critical.
 
Whilst it is important you have experience of developing and delivering recruitment strategy. You will also need to be operationally focused, engaging with stakeholders, reporting MI (monthly and ad-hoc) and budget management.
 
You'll need to be highly motivated, organised and collaborative with the communication skills to engage and influence at all levels.
