Do you like numbers? Can you think outside the box? Do you want to have real influence in driving revenue for Virgin Trains? We are looking for a candidate that is bold and curious to join our Revenue Management team.
 
Revenue Management is at the heart of decision making at Virgin Trains. This role is responsible for driving revenue across the routes through yield management. This is achieved by owning a group of trains to ensure Virgin Trains maximises the revenues and returns from each train whilst managing overcrowding. You will need to use your analytical skills to understand the different markets served by Virgin Trains to plan yield strategies. Your ability to communicate will be needed to influence as required and gain buy in to your strategies.
 
Accountabilities: 
Ideally educated to degree level or with equivalent proven experience. A background in yield management or data analysis is desirable along with SQL (or similar language) coding skills. You will additionally need to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Your outstanding IT skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and your ability to provide practical business solutions to real problems are essential.
