We have an exciting position for a Field Tool Manager to come and join our IT Team based out of Leatherhead. The key focus of the role will be to promote the understanding and correct application of the Wates dynamic on-site inspection and recording system (Field Tool (FT) and the Field View (FV) App.
The main accountabilities include:
Provide support, training and information on the practical application of the FV at all levels in a variety of ways including informal workshops, trainings and coaching to raise awareness, compliance and to reduce risk of inadequate records.
Proactively advocate quality management (‘Constructing the Promise’) activities with Wates teams and supply chain to reduce mistakes, rework / recalls and defects
Lead the continual improvement of FT/FV capability, efficiency and functionality ensuring relevance to the businesses; which is informed by feedback from FT users, audit, compliance reviews, industry best practice and lessons learnt including principal contact with the specialist service providers and Wates IT.
Plan and lead compliance reviews (internal audits) in accordance with ISO 19011:2011 on the use and application of FT/FV. Through root cause analysis, identify trends and report findings to business leadership and Group to drive improvement
We are looking for you to have worked in a similar role and have a positive and engaging approach when working with internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience of coaching / mentoring, and ideally be a Quality Practitioner (PCQI) and / or IRCA trained internal auditor.
To be successful in the role you will be a self-starter and have good communication, listening, writing and analytical skills. You will also have the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload with the flexibility to travel nationally and stay away from home when required.
