Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Building Services Manager to join our Southern Home Counties team to be responsible for the functional leadership and management of services management resource on some of our key projects on the South Coast, including our Audley Retirement Village, Romsey – a £50m new build project with an M&E value of £10m

 

Key Accountabilities will include:

 

Assist the Bid Team to manage the production of the Contractors Proposals, ensuring they are complete, unambiguous, have been reviewed by the bid team, and have been updated to include all post tender negotiations.
Produce agree and manage, with all relevant parties, a realistic services design programme and information required schedule to satisfy design, procurement and construction requirements.
Manage the services issues on site with the assistance of other site based resource by implementing the management procedures to ensure the timely production of information is issued, within budget, fully coordinated and buildable.
Ensure the services design has been reviewed on all projects with respect to mitigating Health and Safety issues prior to construction and ensure that hazards are noted on all drawings at each stage of their production.
Maintain close relationships with the Customer and input into contract review.
 

 

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Manager who has solid experience managing M&E Projects in the UK along with a pro-active approach to relationship building with contractors.

 

To be successful in the role you will be a methodical and effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business.
