Who we are looking for
This is a critical role in the strategic planning, development and implementation of all Marketing and Innovation initiatives within New Store Formats including new Store Renewals, new mini Formats, Deliveroo for our Equity and Partnerships business.
The Senior Marketing Manager will play an integral role in putting the UK customer at the heart of how we develop our propositions and ensure that we are supporting the launch and development of marketing initiatives in and out of store to grow our business in the UK.
This person will play a lead role in aligning with both Global and the Franchise partnerships and the Store construction team to support marketing and launch plans across the UK&I business. Strong stakeholder leadership and the ability to engage with internal and external support networks to collaborate and deliver is key.
In this role you would:
Lead and develop a team of 2 DRs to deliver the plan.
Be responsible for the Marketing launch plans for the Store Renewal program and New Formats.
Be responsible for the In-Store Marketing Communication tools to drive category growth for the business.
Lead for UK Marketing for new Global Store Formats development
Develop the Partnership Marketing Strategy and Activation Plan.
Leverage the partnerships plan to deliver activation plan for our concession’s channels
Be a champion of the brand DNA - ensuring consistent communications across all marketing touch points to ensure Costa’s continuous demonstration of category leadership
Demonstrate leadership skills amongst the marketing team and wider businesses
Developing and enhance relationships with all key stakeholders across the business, across multiple levels influencing across the structure
So, what does it take?
Understanding of strategic development and implementation of marketing plans with a focus on meeting commercial channel and consumer objectives.
Good understanding of the challenges of marketing though distributed retail operations.
Excellent people management skills
Customer-focused, with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers and build effective relationships.
Ability to think strategically
Strong stakeholder leadership skills
Excellent man management skills
Minimum of 7 years customer marketing with experience of managing on premise, Grocery and Whole sale channels.
Strong commercial experience
Experience in a fast paced FMCG or retail environment
Experience of product launches
Extensive commercial experience using data to inform decisions.
