Job Description

Offploy CIC are working with one of our longstanding partner organisations to recruit a Senior Recruitment Business Partner for their organisation. The role is a full time and permanent opportunity. We are ideally looking for candidates with lived experience of the Justice Sector but this is not essential.

Main purpose of role:

To provide service excellence to our customers (clients, candidates, workers & suppliers) by embracing a promised based culture. To manage the recruitment life cycle for a designated account and to build strong, long standing relationships with our Customers. To act as an ambassador for our clients organisation, ensuring that our values and guiding principles are upheld in everything that you do and that any action taken, continually works towards achieving ‘high road’ recruitment practices whilst actively driving the company business strategy.

The SRBP is also responsible for supporting the Client Services Manager (CSM) to develop the account & customer relationship, and has oversight of all aspects of operational account management.

Key responsibilities:

Account Development:

Support the Client Services Manager in fulfilling account objectives; managing the day-to-day operations of the account, including the requisition fulfilment process for assigned client
Proactively develop new business opportunities by establishing and building productive and collaborative relationships with existing and new key stakeholders within the client
Professionally communicates and consults the client to ensure they are kept up to date with progress against particular requirements, and provides relevant feedback to promote accurate and achievable candidate pipeline management
Proactively develops, and continuously improves the service provided
Confidently negotiates, using persuasion and influencing skills to ensure that all the clients strategic staffing decisions are made in consultation with the clients overall group network
Team Recruitment & Development Support:

To support the Client Service Manager (CSM) in the recruitment of the dedicated account team
Where required, conduct 1ststage strength based interviews independently utilising the company framework
To support CSM with team development in-line with the company career path, and act as a mentor to RBP
To review performance standards in-line with the minimum company expectations, ensuring personal targets/objectives and KPIs are in place, understood, reviewed and met on a monthly basis

Provide a quality consultative recruitment service to client’s in-line with the requirements of the client and company
Consistently provide outstanding candidate and worker experience
Develop and continually review an applicant attraction strategy that is fit for purpose to ensure that client requirements are met
Prepare and facilitate the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment of suitably skilled candidates, ensuring optimum levels of workers are available to meet the client needs
Take a lead on ensuring all job vacancies are fully qualified with the hiring manager / decision maker
Obtain full job specifications and person specifications from clients maximising each opportunity for placements
Accurately match candidates to vacancies to meet client expectations
Screen, interview, assess, candidates in-line with the company and client standards, ensuring a detailed understanding of their job and career requirements
Proactively arrange interviews, ensuring full candidate and client briefing / de-briefing takes place with constructive feedback provided
Manage customer (Client, Worker, Candidate & Supplier) expectations throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Ensure all recruitment administration is completed in-line with SLA and operations manual with an emphasis on quality and accuracy
Ensuring that all relevant worker checks have been completed prior to organising interviews or placing in a booking/position
Maintain all aspects of the temporary workforce data to enable management information to be given / presented to the client
Ensure all workers have signed contracts and are aware and comply with company, client and statutory requirements

Embody the principles of Golden Thread, ensuring candidate and worker relationships are maintained, working to reduce worker attrition rates and re-deploy workers at assignment end
Support retention initiatives on-site including exit surveys
Support CSM in planning and forecasting with the client
Develop strategic and collaborative relationships with customers (candidates, workers, clients, suppliers & colleagues)
Gaining clients’ trust and developing a deep understanding their business by arranging / attending client visits, service reviews, etc.
Build and establish key supplier relationships both with group and external suppliers where required
Create presentations and analysis on market trends/insight, salary survey’s and related projects
To assist in the production of internal and external reports
Manage quality and compliance requirements in-line with company and customer SLA
Maintain and develop market and best practice knowledge
Act as a dedicated client escalation point and effectively manage issues and queries to resolution, deputising for the CSM in their absence
Ensure data accuracy in candidate / worker database
Joint responsibility with the (RBP or CSM) for keeping each client Operations Manual up-to-date
Responsible for obtaining an accurate and up-to-date record of key client specific policies and procedures
Ensure an accurate and up-to-date candidate / worker record is recorded on our clients computer systems (evolution), making sure that any issues are logged
Ensure that all periods of absences are dealt with in-line with the company Absence Management Process; and that the Annual Leave Process is maintained and followed without exception
Ensure adherence to all current employment laws, legislative or otherwise is maintained
Ensure effective communication with the workforce, client, colleagues and suppliers and best practice is shared
Provide an accurate and timely payroll process for the temporary workforce including all aspects of timesheet processing, payroll administration and issue resolution where applicable
Regularly review customer satisfaction levels, and suggest opportunities for improvements where developmental trends are identified
Proactively builds and maintains strong and collaborative relationships with Client Service Manager (CSM)
In conjunction with line manager, carry out the investigating process linked to the company disciplinary procedures in-line with company HR processes
Invoice and debtor day management and control

Skills required for the role

We require a proactive and established recruiter able to work on their own initiative. Someone who can build professional relationships by naturally building rapport with the team, workers, client, & suppliers and therefore proven experience of excellent stakeholder management skills will be essential. You need to have previous recruitment experience, preferably supporting key accounts, as well as being highly organised, reliable and have a good level of MS Office experience.

Although not essential you may also have some Team Leader/Mentoring experience.
