Job Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior SHE Advisor to join our Residential South team, where the primary focus of this role will be to provide professional SHE support, advice and coaching at regional business level for the business. Engage with BUDs, Ops Directors and supply chain peers to ensure that the business SHE policy is promoted and effectively deployed and provide leadership, support and development to SHE advisors.



Key Accountabilities will include:


Ensure that all projects are visited on a regular basis, personally attending as agreed with SHE Manager. VMR completed after each visit
Coach project leads and Regional leadership on risk identification and mitigation
Lead investigations into agreed incidents and coach project teams on investigation techniques
Complete regular reviews of project RAMS and project plans ensuring they are timely and fit for purpose and ensure compliance to all WPS
Promote the use of internal systems in the recording of incidents, ensure the timely close out of all recorded actions
Support local project teams and regional leadership in the preparation of bids and pre construction information. Actively promoting risk awareness within the design and pre construction communities

We are looking for an individual with experience of SHE leadership in an residential or construction environment as well as a high level understanding of all legislation regarding construction SHE.


To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to coach and influence individuals, along with being able to identify hazards, quantify risks and to analyse and present data effectively to senior boards and forums.


The role will require travel around the region supporting the sites.
