The Strategy Analyst will be the go-to person within the business for insight on day-to-day revenue performance and how this compares to expectation. This person will assimilate and combine knowledge from across the commercial functions to evaluate the reasons behind any variances to revenue expectations and communicate this appropriately to facilitate longer term learnings and decision making.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Ensure a sound understanding of internal actions being delivered by the commercial functions within the period and assimilate insight on external factors.
Maintain an understanding of the assumptions within the revenue forecast and budget.
Use both of the above to understand daily and weekly revenue performance and variances to expectation.
Ensure insight on any variances are recorded and fed into future forecasts.
Using a range of data sources; both revenue and customer, report on daily and weekly revenue performance to colleagues within the commercial team and to senior stakeholders within the wider business.
Work closely with analysts and senior analysts within the strategic analysis team to share knowledge of short term and emerging longer-term trends affecting their business functions.
Supporting the Head of Strategic Analysis on the production of the periodic Commercial Report.
